"I always have a book on me. The written word reaches into my soul and pulls out someone I didn't know existed. They're an escape. They somehow lift the weight of the world off my shoulders. I talk about them as though they're alive. Well, a writers job is to make words come alive for you. I've been writing for ages and I'm still surprised by the things my mind creates. My mind has always been this vast other world, bottomless, where nothing is impossible. I love it!"
Auden's love of Horror, Fantasy and Paranormal began when she dove into Blood and Chocolate and The Silver Kiss by Annette Kurtis Clause. The works of Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Robert Browning, Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Emily Dickinson ensnared her. It's difficult to find a horror movie or book that scares her but it doesn't stop her from trying. She's written and published several novels and short stories.
She has a Bachelors in English and studied Creative Writing in England. Her Masters of Science in Library and Information Science makes her an expert researcher. If you need it, she can find it. Her M.S. in Publishing: Digital and Print from NYU means she's a trained editor and knows the ins-and-outs of the publishing industry. She can help book authors market their stories. She designs her own covers and book images. She's also a photographer. One of her photos won The Muse Creative Awards. Check out her images on Shutterstock, 123RF and Flickr.
